Stenograph®, LLC has announced a partnership with Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) to further its support of court reporter education. Tri-C is naming Stenograph's digital court reporting software, MAXScribe, the primary software of the Captioning and Court Reporting program's Digital Reporting and Transcription certificate. Tri-C will also be leveraging material from Stenograph's Digital Reporting Academy within its curriculum to prepare the students for AAERT certifications.
"With Stenograph's long history in our industry, reliability of their products and support coupled with having the pulse on technology, this is logically the premier choice for our students," stated Kelly Moranz, assistant professor of Court Reporting and Captioning at Tri-C. "By learning and utilizing Stenograph's MAXScribe software within our program, students benefit from this one-stop shop with a quality product, knowing they will be poised and ready for employment and certification."
"Cuyahoga Community College is proud to bring MAXScribe to its Court Reporting and Captioning Program," commented Jen Krueger, professor of Court Reporting and Captioning. "Tri-C has maintained a commitment to training court reporters for more than 50 years, bringing its students excellent education and training at all times. Recognizing Stenograph's commitment to court reporters and court reporting students and realizing the power of MAXScribe, Stenograph's all-in-one platform allows students to capture, annotate, and edit a transcript in one location and is a perfect fit for our award-winning program."
"Stenograph is thrilled to partner with Tri-C, the only program teaching all three methods of reporting in the industry," said Janet Harris, Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Stenograph. "Kelly Moranz and Jen Krueger are both highly respected instructors in the industry, and Stenograph welcomes them and their students to our platform. MAXScribe is the only end-to-end digital reporting and transcript production solution in the market, offering real-time reporting options to the legal community."
Stenograph feels strongly that there should be an educated, certified court reporter in every deposition or courtroom, remote or in-person. As part of Stenograph's commitment to education and increasing the number of students and certified reporters entering the field, the company is licensing training materials to partner schools, like Tri-C, through the Stenograph Education Network. In addition, Stenograph will be working with Tri-C to provide scholarships for court reporting students.
