Turbopower Announces New Board of Director Appointments

Turbopower, a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider for gas turbine engines, auxiliary power units and component parts, announced today the appointment of Scott Starrett as its Executive Chairman and Vice Admiral (Retired) Dean Peters as its newest Board Member.

"We are excited to deepen our relationship with Scott and welcome VADM Peters to the Turbopower Board," said Cliff Orr, Partner with Battle Investment Group. "Scott has been an integral member of our Board, and his leadership and guidance have been tremendously valuable to Turbopower. Scott brings an extensive track record of leading and growing aerospace companies, and his increased involvement will further Turbopower's progress as we work to add new customers and capabilities both organically and through acquisition. In addition to Scott's new role, we are excited to have VADM Peters join the Board. VADM Peters' breadth of leadership experience across U.S. Navy aviation MRO and program management will serve to ensure Turbopower's continued delivery of excellent services for its military customers. Together, Scott and VADM Peters will prove important resources for Turbopower President Vladan Miskovic and the rest of the team. I am excited to build upon the momentum we have established in driving the Turbopower platform's expansion and success."

Prior to Starrett's involvement with Turbopower and Battle Investment Group, he served as President of StandardAero's Military and Energy business unit, where he successfully quadrupled revenue between 2016 and 2020. Prior to StandardAero, Starrett served as President of Sikorsky Aircraft's Military Systems business unit, which included key product lines such as the Blackhawk, Naval Hawk and Presidential Helicopter platforms. Starrett began his career at Honeywell, where he held numerous executive-level positions across its aerospace and space portfolio.

VADM Peters recently retired from active duty in the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Naval Aviator and Major Program Manager. He completed his service as Commander of the Naval Air Systems Command.
