MTM Transit Welcomes Regional Vice President Leslie Stone

As MTM Transit continually strives to ensure its nationwide operations flourish through exceptional leadership and hands-on management, it is excited to announce the newest addition to its leadership team: Regional Vice President Leslie Stone. Leslie oversees MTM Transit's paratransit, fixed route, and special needs transportation services in Colorado and Arizona, working with clients and local management teams to increase service efficiency, ensure contractual compliance, and support ongoing growth.

A nearly 25-year veteran of the transportation industry, Leslie has served in a variety of roles that have helped her cultivate her vast transit knowledge and expertise. Leslie began her transit career in 2000 as Director of Transportation for Citibus in Lubbock, Texas. Over the following 20-plus years, she has served in high-level management roles with organizations like First Transit and National Express. Most recently, she served as First Transit's Region Performance Assurance Director, providing operational oversight and support to 57 fixed route, paratransit, and shuttle bus operations in the eastern region. Leslie earned her degree in urban planning from Arizona State University and is a Sustainable Mobility Task Force Volunteer with the International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI).

"Leslie's collaborative approach to managing fast-paced transit environments is complemented by her dedication to interacting with local employees, governments, residents, and businesses to build a transit operation that meets the needs of the community at large," said MTM Transit's Chief Operating Officer Brian Balogh. "I am confident that our clients and staff will enjoy working with Leslie to increase community access through quality transportation."
