At age twelve, I joined the Catholic Church along with my sister and my friends. The fact that we had broken a long-held tradition of being a Baptist family did not bother Mom and Dad one bit, as long as we were in church. After all, we are all serving the same God with our eyes on the same destination—heaven. I did not know Jesus then, but I knew all about the Virgin Mary and St. Jude."
